At Home Learning - Spring 2020
Hi families,
I'm going to use this page for resources while students are at home. If you have suggestions to add, please feel free to send me an email. This is new territory for everyone involved.
More content will be coming as things progress.
Information on curriculum for families can be found here: https://curriculum.novascotia.ca/learning-home
* Please note, as families, you are not responsible to teach your child everything. We as teachers and schools will do our best to support students and this will obviously be taken into account with further revision in future years of school.

Reading
Reminder to students that the level isn't as important, the goal is that the book is just right (juste bien, not too hard, not too easy), that you understand what's happening (you're not guessing), you can read is confidently aloud, and most importantly, it's interesting to you.
I've highlighted some French reading options as I know many of us can find English books more easily at home, but French books are harder to come by.
Ne marche pas sur les mots, nage dans l'histoire !
(don't walk on the words, swim through the story)
